The resin cost formula

cost/mL    = price_per_litre ÷ 1000
resin_cost = mL_used × cost/mL
total      = resin_cost + IPA + gloves + FEP_wear

Resin is priced per litre but consumed by the millilitre, and 1 mL equals 1 cm³. Your slicer’s volume estimate — model plus supports — is the figure to use. Failed prints and the resin left on the build plate and in the vat are real losses; if you want to cover them, raise the mL figure or add a line for them rather than guessing a percentage.

How do I calculate the cost of a resin print?
Multiply the millilitres used (model plus supports) by your cost per mL — that is the bottle price divided by 1000. Then add consumables such as IPA, gloves and FEP film wear as separate lines. The calculator itemises each.
Why are consumables separate from the resin?
IPA, nitrile gloves and FEP film are real recurring costs but they are not resin, and they vary independently. Keeping them on their own lines means you can adjust or remove any of them without distorting the material figure.
How many mL is my print?
Your slicer reports the estimated resin volume for the job, including supports. Use that figure. 1 mL of resin is 1 cm³, so a model volume in cm³ is directly the mL you need.
